with my research i have noticed a change from the 25th september issue of bristol post to the previous established grommets featuring on the bristol posts papers over the summer period.
They have taken a new approach to there layout of the newspaper which is now try to target more so females and younger audience as well as middle aged men and women.

there is an interesting page which takes some people personal opinions on the new look.

http://www.holdthefrontpage.co.uk/2013/news/regional-daily-adopts-magazine-style-front-page-in-revamp/    More information can be found on this link . From the new issue on this web link it looks like they gone for a more magazine style layout perhaps this could be to appeal to a younger and female audience.

This new paper published yesturday is very picture heavy just like a magazine and doesnt hold a main cover story now just a main cover photo which is 'balls to the boys' theyve decided to look into womens football achievments rather than the two other mens football teams we have in bristol.

there has been opinions written such as when something more serious appears on the news how will they style a cereal killer story into a magazine looking newspaper.
Similarities however still hold a bold masthead using a serif font which is used for formality

“No matter how much people think they know Bristol, the new Bristol Post strives to find new things for them to do, food for them to eat and places for them to visit, while providing expert insight in to shops, shows, products and performances  this is a more positive look into the new bristol post .
